TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Police said the East Java Police would look into Bahar bin Smith’s recent remark against President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and determine whether it could be categorized as a threat.
“The East Java Police will investigate the remark. If it is categorized as a threat it will be processed,” National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo said in his office on Friday, March 15, 2019.
Bahar made the remark as he claimed the case implicating him—in which he is suspected of assaulting two youngsters—was unfair and laden with political contents.
